Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cornstarch
  • 75 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 pinch of gingerbread spice
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g marzipan paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Chocolate dough balls with marzipan core

Knead all the dough ingredients thoroughly, then form into rolls approximately 2 cm in diameter and cut into 1 cm thick slices (approx. 60). Shape the marzipan into small balls (as many as there are dough discs) and place them on the dough discs. Gather the dough over the balls, shape them into balls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 150°C–170°C for approximately 15–20 minutes.
