Luchhi Indian Flatbread

The perfect luchhi indian flatbread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Flour
  • Water
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Oil to fry
  1. First form a dough with the flour, water, salt and oil. The dough has a similar consistency to yeast dough.
  2. Then form small balls with a diameter of approx. 4 cm.
  3. Place the balls between both palms and twist them smoothly.
  4. Then place on a plastic or wooden board and roll out into a small flatbread. The flatbreads should have a diameter of approx. 8 cm.
  5. Then heat the oil and fry the flatbreads one by one in the hot oil.
  6. The flatbread can be used as an accompaniment to Indian curry dishes.
