Lumberjack toast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast (wholemeal toast)
  • butter
  • 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 2 slice(s) pineapple , (can)
  • 2 slices cheese (Gouda), medium-aged
  • 100 g Mett (onion Mett)
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp horseradish (cream horseradish)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Toast and butter the bread. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Stir the mustard and creamed horseradish into the ground onions. Season well with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Form two flat patties and fry them in a pan on both sides. Place the patties on the toast, then top with a slice of ham, a slice of pineapple, and finally, the Gouda cheese. Bake in the oven for about 6 minutes.
