Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of pasta (macaroni)
- salt water
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 pack of processed cheese
- 4 tomatoes
- 500 ml milk, approx.
- some butter flakes
- Breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Divide the macaroni into three equal parts and cook in salted water. Chop the onion into pieces and fry with the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. In the meantime, peel the tomatoes (first score the skin a few times and then place it in the hot water; this will loosen the skin). Place the cheese spread in a small bowl and pour over the milk – just enough so that the cheese spread is slightly below the milk (I always do it by eye; the pot is then about 3/4 full). Bring to a boil while stirring. Then add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Place the macaroni and ground beef in a baking dish (mix slightly), place the tomatoes in the corners, or press them in. Finally, pour the sauce over the mixture and sprinkle with some breadcrumbs. A few (4-6) small flakes of butter are then placed on top, and the whole thing is then placed in the oven at approximately 180°C (fan oven) for about 20-30 minutes, until the pasta takes on some color. (It always varies slightly.)
