Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250 g macaroni
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 375 g minced meat
- ½ onion(s)
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 1 small zucchini
- ¼ liter of milk
- 1 can of pizza tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- Milk
- 2 tbsp, grated cheese
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Oregano, dried
- Garlic granules
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Boil the macaroni in salted water for 10 minutes, drain, and rinse with cold water. Grease an ovenproof dish and add two-thirds of the pasta. Heat the olive oil and brown the minced meat. Dice the onion, bell pepper, and zucchini and fry briefly. Add the pizza tomatoes, tomato paste, and ketchup. Season with oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic and simmer for 10 minutes. Bring the milk and vegetable stock to a boil in a saucepan. Mix the flour with a little cold milk until smooth and pour into the boiling milk, stirring continuously with a whisk. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cheese to taste. Pour the meat sauce over the pasta, arrange the remaining pasta on top, and top with the cheese sauce. Sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
