Macaroni ‘n Cheese

- 350 gr Macaroni
- 200 gr Cheddar grated
- 100 gr Medium-Aged grated Gouda
- 30 gr Flour
- 50 gr Butter
- 0,5 l Milk
- 2 tsp Mustard medium hot
- 30 gr Breadcrumbs
- 50 gr Freshly grated Parmesan
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- Melt 30 grams of butter in a saucepan and add 30 grams of flour. Sweat everything while stirring until golden yellow.
- Gradually add half a liter of milk, stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper and simmer for 3 minutes over a low heat. Stir 2 teaspoons of mustard into the sauce
- Cook 350 grams of macaroni. When these are ready, put in a baking dish, add the 200 gr Cheddar and 100 gr Gouda, as well as the sauce and then mix everything well.
- Mix the breadcrumbs and the grated Parmesan together and spread over the pasta, as well as spread the remaining 20 grams of butter in flakes over it
- Then bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes
