Cheese Macaroni with Onions

The perfect cheese macaroni with onions recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Egg pasta macaroni
  • Salt
  • 70 g Grated Emmental
  • 30 g Freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1 Pc. Onion red
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  1. Cook the macaroni in plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Grate the two types of cheese and mix together. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection 160 degrees). Peel the onion and cut into rings. Place the macaroni alternately with cheese in an ovenproof dish, finish with cheese and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Fry the onions in the hot oil, add the butter and continue frying. Drain on kitchen paper and place on the macaroni. Serve hot.
