Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • rosemary
  • 300 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Skin and bone a chicken, cut the meat into strips, season lightly, and fry in hot butter over moderate heat. Remove the pan from the heat. Whisk the cream with the egg yolk and add it, along with a little rosemary and, if desired, a little basil. Place the cooked, well-drained pasta in a buttered casserole dish, then top with the meat and the contents of the pan. Sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese, add knobs of butter, and quickly bake in a preheated oven (middle rack, 200°C).
