Macaroni with red Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 onions
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 pkt. Tomato(s) – pulp (500g)
  • 250 g cheese (Cambozola) OR
  • 250 g Gorgonzola / cream cheese half and half
  • ½ cup whipped cream (100g)
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 500 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

My debut recipe

Sauté the diced onions in hot fat until translucent. Dust with flour. Add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Stir the coarsely crumbled cheese into the sauce. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni in salted water with oil. Drain and serve with the sauce.
