Maccaroni + Cheese
The perfect maccaroni + cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Pasta – croissant macaroni or gemmeli
- 200 g Chester / Gouda grated
- 100 g Sheep cheese Bulgarian
- 800 ml Milk
- 6 tbsp Butter
- 6 tbsp Flour
- 2 Chunky tomatoes
- 1 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- Cook the pasta al dente while cooking.
- Sweat flour + milk (light) and pour the milk on top. Add 150 grams of grated chester or gouda, the sheep’s cheese, as well as the spices and tomatoes.
- Let this cheese sauce simmer for 6 minutes while stirring. season again with salt and spices.
- Put pasta and cheese sauce in a casserole, mix well + sprinkle with breadcrumbs and 50 g of chester. put the casserole in the oven for 30 minutes at 170 °. finished.
