Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 packs of salt
- 2 kg pork neck, boneless
- oil
- 2 packs of frozen herbs, e.g. 8 herbs, or Italian etc.
- ½ cup water
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Simple oven roast for many occasions
Spread the salt evenly on a baking sheet. Place the meat on it and brush with oil. Sprinkle the herbs over the roast. Place half a cup of water on the bottom of the oven. Roast the meat on the middle rack at 200°C. Do not open the oven during this time. Then remove the salt from the roast and carve it. Delicious hot or cold. Serve with any kind of sauce, salad, baguette, etc. Perfect for parties.
