You can easily make frozen yogurt yourself if you have one or two ingredients and a little patience. We’ll show you how to make delicious frozen yogurt with our ingenious recipe.

The following recipe is a classic basic recipe for which you do not need an ice cream maker. For the basic recipe you only need three basic ingredients:

  • 500 milliliters of natural yogurt
  • 50 to 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • A packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions: Make frozen yogurt yourself

  1. Put the natural yogurt in a bowl and stir it vigorously with the hand mixer so that it becomes noticeably creamier.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar while stirring. Depending on the sweetness you want, you can use between 50 and 100 grams.
  3. Finally, stir in the vanilla sugar and place the yogurt mixture in the freezer for several hours.
  4. Depending on the freezer compartment, the process takes one to three hours. Stir vigorously once every 20 minutes.
  5. The frozen yogurt is ready when it is well frozen but still stirs well and tastes creamy.

Refine frozen yogurt with toppings

  • You can also enjoy the classic frozen yogurt on its own, but it only becomes really enjoyable with the right toppings. There are no limits to the imagination here.
  • Fresh fruits such as strawberries, mangoes, raspberries, or grapes are particularly popular. But broken biscuit pieces, brittle, chocolate, gummy bears, and nuts also go well with frozen yogurt.
