Mandarin Jelly with Mango Pieces

The perfect mandarin jelly with mango pieces recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Fresh mandarins
  • 1 Pc. Mango fresh and ripe
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Gelfix 3: 1
  • 1 Pc. Lemon fresh
  • 1 pinch Allspice from the spice mill
  • 1 shot Orange liqueur or similar
  1. Squeeze the lemon and mandarins and pour the juice into a tall saucepan. Mix the sugar and Gelfix, dissolve in the juice while stirring. Peel the mango, remove the stone, cut into small even pieces and add to the juice. Heat the saucepan and cook for at least 5 minutes. Add allspice and orange liqueur or similar. If you don’t like alcohol, you can leave it out. In the meantime, rinse the jars and lids with hot water and have them ready. Pour hot jam, close the lid tightly, turn the jars upside down, turn over after 10 minutes.
