Marble cake with yogurt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml sunflower oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 300 g natural yogurt
  • 200 g almonds, ground or hazelnuts
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 organic lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 1 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Bundt cake

Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat with a food processor or hand mixer until frothy. Add the sugar and oil. Next, stir in the yogurt and lemon juice and zest. Then, using a whisk, fold in the ground almonds, sifted flour, and baking powder. Preheat the oven to approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat) and pour two-thirds of the batter into a greased baking dish. Color the remaining batter dark with sifted cocoa powder and flavor it with rum. Spread the dark batter over the light batter and fork over the marbled pattern, then bake the cake for about 50 minutes. Decorate as desired, using icing sugar, chocolate, and sprinkles. Fresh strawberries and whipped cream or ice cream also work.
