Marinated feta cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 chili peppers, fresh, red
  • 500 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 sprig(s) of thyme
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary
  • bay leaves
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, black
  • ½ liter olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest period approx. 3 days; Total time approx. 3 days 25 minutes

Peel and slice the garlic cloves and onions. Cut the chili peppers lengthwise, deseed, and wash. Dice the cheese. Rinse and dry the thyme and rosemary. Layer the ingredients in a jar with the bay leaves and peppercorns. Pour oil over the ingredients. Let the cheese marinate for at least 3 days.
