Marinated Strawberries with Limoncello – Zabaione
The perfect marinated strawberries with limoncello – zabaione recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Marinated strawberries …
- 250 g Fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 3 tablespoon Orange liqueur
… with limoncello – zabaione
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 4 Centiliters White wine
- 4 Centiliters Limoncello
- 2 Splash Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Serving:
- Fresh lemon balm or mint
Marinated strawberries …
- Wash, dry, clean and halve the strawberries. Sprinkle with sugar. Add orange liqueur. Mix everything carefully and leave to stand in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, covered.
… mit Limoncello – Zabaione
- Mix egg yolks with vanilla sugar over a hot (not boiling) water bath. Gradually stir in white wine, limoncello and lemon juice. Stir until a light, thick, creamy mass is formed. Remove from the water bath and let cool down a bit.
Serving:
- Divide the strawberries in two dessert glasses. Spread the zabaione over it. Garnish with lemon balm or mint.
