Semolina Pudding with Marinated Strawberries

The perfect semolina pudding with marinated strawberries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Vanilla pulp from 1/2 vanilla stick
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 80 g Soft wheat semolina
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125 g Strawberries
  • 2 tbsp Orange liqueur
  1. Scrape out the vanilla stick, add the pulp with the pinch of salt to the milk and bring to the boil, when it is boiling, remove from the plate and add the semolina with the sugar, let it boil, stirring constantly, to a thick semolina porridge. Put the saucepan to one side and stir in the egg yolk, beat the egg white into snow and fold in, then fill in a cold-rinsed pudding tin and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  1. Wash the strawberries and pluck the greens away and cut into slices, marinate with orange liqueur.
  1. Serving: Turn the pudding out and cover with the strawberries
