delicious marinade made from curry paste, soy sauce and balsamic vinegar

Place the tuna fillets in a baking dish. Mix together a marinade of honey, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, curry paste, and coriander. Finely chop the ginger, garlic, and spring onion and add it to the marinade. Spread the mixture over the fish and refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours. Remove the fillets from the marinade, let them drain slightly, and sear them on both sides in a grill pan. Continue cooking over low heat for 3-5 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fillets). Remove the fish from the pan and keep warm. Add the remaining marinade to the pan and let it reduce slightly. Serve the tuna either on a bed of salad with the marinade as a lukewarm dressing or with basmati rice on warmed plates.
