Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g marzipan paste, soft
  • 175 g margarine, soft, or butter
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes

our absolute favorite

Cream the marzipan with the softened butter until fluffy, then add the powdered sugar, salt, and flavoring and mix. Then stir in the flour. Divide the dough and knead the cocoa powder into one half. Lightly intertwine the two doughs to create a marbled pattern. Form the dough into 3 cm thick rolls and place them in the freezer for about 1 to 1.5 hours. Cut the frozen dough rolls into approximately 1/2 cm thick slices. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes.
