Marzipan potatoes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 2 cl rum
  • 30 g cocoa powder

makes about 40 pieces

Knead the marzipan with the powdered sugar and rum until smooth and malleable. Shape into a log, cut off pieces of varying sizes, and form into oval balls. Using a skewer, press irregularly all over the “potatoes.” These marks should resemble the potatoes’ eyes. Then lightly dust the marzipan potatoes with cocoa powder. Make sure enough of the “earth” sticks to the potatoes.
