Mascarpone and strawberry cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g cream
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 400 g strawberries
  • powdered sugar
  • 1 sprig mint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Tastes especially good on hot days

Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, stirring in the vanilla sugar. Place the mascarpone in a mixing bowl, add the lemon juice, and stir thoroughly. Stir in the cream and mix well. Wash the strawberries, remove the green stems and leaves, dust with powdered sugar, and roughly mash with a fork. Layer the cream and mascarpone mixture and strawberries alternately into the glasses and decorate with mint leaves. Then refrigerate the glasses for at least 30 minutes.
