Mashed Potatoes and Carrots
The perfect mashed potatoes and carrots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 size Potatoes
- 3 size Carrots
- Milk hot
- Sea-Salt
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Parsely
- Peel the potatoes and carrots, wash them and cut them into pieces of about the same size and then cook them in a little salted water.
- Drain the cooked vegetables, mash them (depending on your taste, fine or chunky) and mix with the warm milk to the desired consistency.
- Season with nutmeg and salt. Fold in the butter and finely chopped parsley – done – and serve.
- A quickly cooked side dish that brings a little more color to the plate than “normal” mashed potatoes.
