Mashed Potatoes and Carrots

The perfect mashed potatoes and carrots recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 size Potatoes
  • 3 size Carrots
  • Milk hot
  • Sea-Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Parsely
  1. Peel the potatoes and carrots, wash them and cut them into pieces of about the same size and then cook them in a little salted water.
  2. Drain the cooked vegetables, mash them (depending on your taste, fine or chunky) and mix with the warm milk to the desired consistency.
  3. Season with nutmeg and salt. Fold in the butter and finely chopped parsley – done – and serve.
  4. A quickly cooked side dish that brings a little more color to the plate than “normal” mashed potatoes.
