Mashed potatoes with quark

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g floury potatoes
  • 25 g onion(s)
  • 5 g garlic
  • 1 tbsp oil or vegetable fat
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

simple, low fat

Peel the potatoes, halve them, and boil them in water with 1 teaspoon of salt for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, peel the onion and garlic, finely dice them, and then briefly sauté or fry them in a tablespoon of oil or vegetable fat. When the potatoes are done, drain the water and mash the potatoes with the quark. Season the mash with salt, pepper, and herbs to your taste and mix in the onions and garlic. The mashed potatoes will, of course, taste a little different than with milk, but definitely not bad, in my opinion. The dish contains about 515 kcal per serving.
