Matcha latte with soy milk

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ tsp matcha powder
  • 50 ml water, hot (80 °C hot)
  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink), natural
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

A delicious alternative to coffee that even keeps you awake longer. Suitable for all meta types.

For the matcha latte, place the green tea powder (matcha powder) in a bowl and mix it with the 80°C hot water using a matcha whisk, a small wire whisk, or, even better, a small milk frother. To ensure the water reaches approximately 80°C, let it stand in the kettle with the lid open for about 10 minutes after boiling. Pour the tea into a glass or cup and top with frothed soy milk heated to no more than 80°C. Sweeten the drink with maple syrup, if desired.
