Matjes Fillet with Green Curry Beans and Jacket Potatoes
The perfect matjes fillet with green curry beans and jacket potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 3 – 4 Matjesfilets
- 2 Iceberg salt leaves
- 2 Lemon wedges
- 2 Small tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 200 g Green beans
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 2 tbsp Onion cubes
- 1 tsp Salt
- Coarse sea salt from the mill
- Colorful pepper from the mill
- Clean / remove the threads from the beans, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 10 minutes and pour on. Put butter (1 tbsp) in the hot saucepan, fry the onion cubes (2 tbsp) in it and dust with the curry powder. Finally fold in the beans. Wash the potatoes, boil them in salted water (1 teaspoon) for about 20 minutes and peel them off. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Arrange the plate with lettuce leaf, matjes fillet, onion rings, green curry beans, pell potatoes and garnish with a small tomato and lemon wedge, serve. Serve with salt and pepper shaker.
