Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 8 herring fillets
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 100 g cream
- 2 gherkins
- 1 small onion(s)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- n. B. Mixed herbs, e.g. parsley, chives, or salad herb mix
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Sauté the herring fillets in a large pan over low heat. Finely chop the gherkins and onion. Mix the yogurt with lemon juice, sugar, salt, pepper, mustard, chopped gherkins, and onions. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Season with herbs and season to taste. Serve with boiled nutmeg potatoes.
