Matjes, Potatoes, Beetroot or two Tubers and Herring
The perfect matjes, potatoes, beetroot or two tubers and herring recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Pc. Waxy potatoes
- 2 Pc. Boiled beetroot
- 2 Pc. Herring freshly cut fish
- Cut the cooked potatoes into 1 cm thick slices, then cut out nice round slices with a cookie cutter.
- Cut the cooked beetroot into 1 cm thick slices, then use a cookie cutter to cut out beautiful round slices.
- Cut out slices from the herring fillet
- 4th layers: potato – beetroot – potato – beetroot – potato – herring. Scatter some chives when serving.
