Maultaschen casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 300 g bratwurst, pre-cooked
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • 2 packs of Maultasche(s)
  • 200 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Slice the bratwurst and fry. Dice the onions and sauté them. Pour the passata over the sausage and season to taste. Pour the sauce and bratwurst into a casserole dish. Halve the Maultaschen and arrange them on top of the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes, until the cheese reaches the desired brown color. Serve with a salad. 490 kcal per serving.
