Maultaschen in paprika and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g Maultasche(s)
  • Broth, quantity see package instructions of the Maultaschen
  • 1 small broccoli
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 large bell peppers, red
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed, approx. 400 g each
  • some spice mix (pastry seasoning)
  • n. B. cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

simple, quick, high carb

Briefly cook the Maultaschen in broth according to the package instructions, then fry them and set aside. Add the cleaned and floret-cut broccoli to the same broth and cook for about 10 minutes. Dice the onion and bell pepper, fry in oil, puree, and set aside. Mix the Maultaschen, broccoli, passata, and pureed onion and bell pepper mixture together and season. I use a pasta seasoning. Pour the mixture into a baking dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for about 10 minutes at 200°C (400°F) fan-assisted oven.
