Maultaschen salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of Maultasche(s) from the refrigerated section
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • e.g. chives
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • n. B. herbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips and fry in a pan. Whisk the eggs with paprika, salt, and pepper, spread over the Maultaschen, and fry for a while longer. In the meantime, wash and tear the lettuce into small pieces. Slice the tomatoes and finely chop the chives. Place everything in a bowl. Remove the Maultaschen from the pan and add to the salad. Mix the cream with the vinegar, oil, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, and herbs, and drizzle the dressing over the salad. The dressing can, of course, be varied to your liking.
