Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cake base (sponge cake), bought ready-made
  • 500 g quark
  • 400 g cream
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pack of jelly (woodruff), not instant

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Whip the cream and mix with the quark. Prepare the jelly according to the package instructions, using 6 tablespoons of sugar and half the amount of water. Reserve 3/4 cup of the mixture and set aside. Let it cool, then mix the remaining mixture with the cream and quark. Place a cake ring around the sponge cake and fill with the mixture. Refrigerate the cake overnight. The next day, warm the remaining jelly, spread it on the cake, and let it cool.
