All Day Meatballs – in a kind of almost sweet and sour sauce – a children’s favorite

Mix ketchup, water, vinegar, and sugar thoroughly in the still-cold slow cooker. Soak the oats in the milk in a bowl, add the onion, salt, and mustard, and mix well. Crumble the meat over the meat and knead thoroughly. The mixture should be as homogenous as possible. Using wet or oily hands, form it into 2-3 cm balls and place them in the slow cooker, carefully folding them into the sauce. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Tips: You can spice it up by adding pineapple chunks to the sauce or a few chili flakes, for example. We eat it with wide pasta and salad.
