Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 kg minced meat, mixed
- 3 cucumbers or zucchini
- 500 g mushrooms
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- some oil
- some salt and pepper
- 1 bunch of dill
- 2 cups of cream
- 2 packs of sauce powder (light sauce)
- 500 ml broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
First, peel the cucumbers and dice them. Fry them in a little oil in a pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a large pot. Form the minced meat, garlic, and finely chopped onion into small balls and fry these in the same oil until they have taken on a light color. Add these to the pot with the cucumbers. Now clean the mushrooms, quarter them, and also fry them in the pan. Add the mushrooms to the large pot with the cucumbers and dumplings and top up with the stock until everything is lightly covered. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Pour in the cream and stir in the 2 packets of light sauce. Season with pepper and salt. Just before serving, mix in a generous amount of finely chopped dill. Serve with spaetzle or rice. A simple and relatively inexpensive meal that is very popular with us.
