Meatballs with broad beans and potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced pork
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 onions, diced
  • ½ tbsp savory
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp parsley, dried
  • some pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 250 g sour cream
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 400 g broad beans, frozen
  • 250 ml broth
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Season the minced meat with a diced onion, mustard, garlic powder, tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Form into small dumplings and fry in the oil for 3 minutes until browned all over. Remove from the pan and set aside. Peel and dice the potatoes and fry in the fat for about 3 minutes. Then add the broth, beans, savory, and the remaining onion. Cook for about 20 minutes with the lid closed over medium heat. Then add the meatballs and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with grated cheese and let melt for about 2 minutes with the lid closed.
