Meatballs with White Cabbage
The perfect meatballs with white cabbage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 350 g White cabbage
- 1 tsp Salt
- 125 g Pig meat
- 1 Onion approx. 50 g
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
- Breadcrumbs
- 0,5 Cup Sunflower oil
- Clean the white cabbage, disassemble, blanch in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 5 minutes, drain and finely dice. Peel onion and chop finely. Put all ingredients (white cabbage cubes, pork meat, onion cubes, egg, salt, sweet paprika, whole caraway seeds and breadcrumbs) in a bowl and mix / knead well. Shape meatballs (here: 5 pieces) with moistened hands, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with oil (½ cup) on both sides until golden-brown. The meatballs with white cabbage are a delicious side dish for many dishes and they also just taste like that.
