Ingredients
 

  • 1 Old Bun
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 750 g Minced meat
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 Lettuce hearts
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 1 tbsp Low Sodium Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise

Instructions
 

  • Cut the roll into thin slices and soak in the milk. Cut the shallot into small cubes and sauté in oil until translucent, allow to cool. Knead the minced meat, torn bread rolls, egg and onions, season with salt and pepper.
  • Shape the mince into a roast, put it in an oiled casserole dish. Bake in a hot oven at 200 degrees (convection 180 degrees) in the lower third of the oven for about 45 minutes, let rest briefly. Cut the meatloaf into slices.
  • Clean the lettuce hearts. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Halve the burger buns horizontally and toast, or bake them in the oven.
  • Coat the bottom of the bun halves with mayonnaise and the top with ketchup. Cover the lower halves with lettuce, tomatoes and roast meat. Cover with the bread roll lid.
