  • 1 Egg
  • 5 Cherry tomatoes
  • 0,25 L Water
  • 0,125 L White wine
  • Salt, pepper from the mill

  • Clarified butter

Instructions

  • Put the minced meat in a bowl. Squeeze the soaked bread roll in a colander and add to the mince. Cut an onion, 2 cloves of garlic and 3 tomatoes into very small cubes and add to the mince. Now season everything with salt, paprika powder, pepper from the mill, chilli from the mill and the thyme.
  • Now knead the whole thing well and shape into a loaf. Heat the clarified butter in an ovenproof pan. Brown the roast in it on all sides. Now add the onion, remaining garlic cloves and tomatoes and fry them. Deglaze with the wine and water and add the rest of the thyme. Now fry the whole thing in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 ° C with the lid on.
  • Now take the roast out of the pan and keep it warm. Now thicken the sauce with the cornstarch and season to taste. Cut the roast into slices and serve with the sauce, mashed potatoes and cauliflower. Bon Appetit.
