the simple and quick variant always works

Make a smooth meat dough from the first 6 ingredients (everything except the tomatoes). Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven (225°C conventional oven will also work). Lightly brush a medium-sized loaf pan (cake pan or small roasting tin) with oil and spread the meat mixture inside. Place in the oven for 25 minutes. Then spread the can of tomatoes on top and bake for another 25-30 minutes (Caution: If the edges slowly turn dark, cover with aluminum foil if necessary). This dark color is roasted aromas that make this dish a true flavor explosion, so don’t be afraid of roasted aromas! Remove from the oven and let rest for 8-10 minutes. Then slice and enjoy with baguette, rice, or pasta.
