Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 eggs
  • 75 g stale bread or breadcrumbs
  • 3 ½ tbsp milk
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Soup vegetables . dried
  • 2 tbsp mustard, hot
  • 1 handful of pickled cucumber(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp herb cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Knead the minced meat with the eggs. Soak bread, rolls, or breadcrumbs in the milk and mix with the minced meat. Season to taste. Mix the mustard with finely chopped gherkins, onions, and cream cheese. Spread a piece of cling film on the work surface. Spread the minced meat on it, about a finger’s thickness thick. Spread the mustard mixture on top and shape the minced meat into a roll using the film. Place the roll, without the film, in a greased baking dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 1 hour on the middle rack.
