Mediterranean Bean Salad
The perfect mediterranean bean salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
dressing
- 3 Pc. Spring onion
- 200 g Beans thick (broad beans) ripe canned
- 100 g Sheep cheese
- 50 g Pickled olives, pitted
- 1 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 1 Pc. Chilli sweet
- 3 tbsp White balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp Grapeseed oil
- 1 Knife point Sugar
- Sea-Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
“Gerichte Geschichte”
- As an alternative to a conventional “Styrian” bean salad, I prepare this Mediterranean variant at summer barbecues with friends.
For the dressing
- For the dressing, squeeze a clove of garlic, chop the sweet chilli pepper and mix everything together with the rest of the ingredients, let it steep briefly. Salt and pepper.
For the salad
- Wash the beans (broad beans or butter beans) well and let them drain. To cut onions. Dice tomatoes and cheese.
- Carefully mix the beans, onions, olives and tomatoes, then fold in the sheep’s cheese and pour the dressing over them.
