Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 stalk(s) baguette(s)
  • 12 slices of mozzarella
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 slices of salami
  • some basil, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut 12 slices from the baguette. Briefly toast them in the oven, rub them with the garlic clove, and sprinkle with olive oil. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Place the tomatoes, salami, and mozzarella on the rolls, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with basil, salt, and pepper. Bake for a few minutes at 200°C. A delicious and quick snack for between meals. Tastes delicious with a glass of Italian wine. I’ve also used prosciutto instead of salami.
