Melon Ice Cream

The perfect melon ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Watermelon
  • 200 g Greek yogurt 10% fat
  • 1 teaspoon Citric acid
  • 30 g Orange sugar
  • 250 g Qimiq Whip Vanilla
  1. Cut melon into large cubes – add yoghurt and citric acid (from the food department! Not the ones we use to decalcify!) – puree everything thoroughly and then season with orange sugar – how much you actually need depends on the sweetness of the melon
  2. Whip up the ice-cold QimiQ Whip Vanilla and then add to the melon mixture – mix everything well again and then let this mixture freeze in the ice machine for 40 minutes
  3. then portion the ice cream in silicone molds (or put in a tupper container and then remove the portions with the ice-cream tongs)
