Melon Ice Cream
The perfect melon ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Watermelon
- 200 g Greek yogurt 10% fat
- 1 teaspoon Citric acid
- 30 g Orange sugar
- 250 g Qimiq Whip Vanilla
- Cut melon into large cubes – add yoghurt and citric acid (from the food department! Not the ones we use to decalcify!) – puree everything thoroughly and then season with orange sugar – how much you actually need depends on the sweetness of the melon
- Whip up the ice-cold QimiQ Whip Vanilla and then add to the melon mixture – mix everything well again and then let this mixture freeze in the ice machine for 40 minutes
- then portion the ice cream in silicone molds (or put in a tupper container and then remove the portions with the ice-cream tongs)
serve and decorate
