Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 1 tsp, sautéed marjoram
  • ½ bunch parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 150 g quark
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

delicious, hearty snack

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Separate the egg, mix the egg white with the minced meat, onion, cheese, herbs, and tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix the flour, oil, quark, salt, and baking powder in a bowl until you have a smooth dough. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the minced meat mixture on top. Now roll the whole thing up from the long side, brush the dough edges with egg yolk, and press down firmly. Cut the roulade into 1.5-2 cm wide slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the rosettes for approx. 35-40 minutes (depending on your oven). Another great idea is to bake the rosettes together in a springform pan like a cake.
