Michi's Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with chanterelles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • salt water
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 150 g chanterelles
  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch of oregano
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Garlic noodles with a twist

Cook the spaghetti in salted water. Cut the tomatoes into approximately 0.5 cm pieces. Finely chop the garlic, but do not press it. Sauté the garlic and chanterelles in hot olive oil in a large pan, being careful not to brown the garlic. Add the paprika and turmeric and fry briefly. Add the tomatoes and stir well. Simmer gently over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add the oregano and season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and stir well.
