Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 steaks (lamb), 200-250 g each
  • ½ clove(s) garlic
  • Sea salt or smoked salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • some herb butter
  • some olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

First, wash the lamb and pat dry. Then, press the garlic clove and rub the steaks with the pepper and oregano. Heat the oil in a grill pan and preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Sear the steaks in the pan at three-quarters of the heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness and desired browning. Sprinkle the salt over the steaks about 30 seconds before removing them. Meanwhile, spread out two pieces of aluminum foil. When the steaks are cooked, place them on the foil and spread half of the herb butter over each one. Close the foil and place it in the oven for 15-20 minutes. You can eat this with fresh white bread or flatbread.
