Microwave potato gratin

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml sweet cream
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

quick and easy

Wash, peel, and thinly slice the potatoes. Peel and dice the onion. Grease a suitable microwave dish (or a glass dish that fits in the microwave) with butter. Place a layer of potatoes in a ring. Sprinkle with the diced onion, pepper, and salt. Repeat this process until all the potatoes are used up, leaving the center free. Pour over the cream, sprinkle with the cheese, and sprinkle with marjoram. Close the dish and cook for 10 minutes at 600 watts. Cook for another 5 minutes at 360 watts. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with salad.
