Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 125 g Cabanossi, sliced
  • 1 vegetable onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
  • 2 small cans of kidney beans
  • ½ liter of water
  • ¼ liter red wine
  • 2 cubes of meat broth
  • Salt
  • oil
  • Sugar
  • chili powder
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Sauté the onion in heated oil. Add the minced meat and fry until well browned, along with the garlic clove. Add the Cabanossi and fry briefly. Add the tomato paste and diced bell pepper and fry briefly. Add the kidney beans. Top up with water and red wine, then add the two stock cubes. Season to taste with salt, sugar, paprika, and chili powder. Simmer for about 30 minutes over medium heat (but longer is fine). Season again if desired. Serve with baguette.
