Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 200 g bacon, streaky
  • 6 onions, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1.4 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 400 g tomatoes, peeled
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 6 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 bell peppers, red, diced
  • 2 peppers, yellow, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, green, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dice the bacon and fry. Add the diced onions and crushed garlic and sauté until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry for about 7 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and tomato liquid, kidney beans, and chili sauce. Season with chili powder, salt, and sugar. Finally, add the diced bell peppers and cook for about 15 minutes. Serve hot.
