Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g pasta (macaroni)
  • Salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Sugar
  • 1 pkt. Peas and carrots, frozen, (450 g each)
  • 125 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of yogurt (175 g each)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and sugar
  • Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook whole macaroni in salted water. Drain, rinse, drain, and let cool. Cut into approximately 1 cm pieces. Bring water to a boil with salt and sugar. Add peas and carrots and cook over low heat for 8 minutes. Drain and let cool completely. Meanwhile, cut the cheese into 1/2 cm cubes. Loosely mix the macaroni pieces, vegetables, and cheese cubes. Make the marinade from mayonnaise, yogurt, and lemon juice, and season with salt, sugar, and a few drops of Tabasco. Pour the marinade over the salad, cover, and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Arrange in a bowl and serve immediately.
