Millet cookies with cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g millet
  • 400 ml water
  • 130 g quark
  • 130 g grated cheese (e.g. mountain cheese)
  • 120 g oat flakes
  • Salt
  • Herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

for approx. 24 pieces

Wash the millet and boil it in water for 10 minutes, then let it swell and cool. Combine the cooled millet with the quark, cheese, and oat flakes until smooth. Season with salt and herbs. Form small cookies and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 180°C fan-assisted oven or 200°C top/bottom heat for 20 minutes. Enjoy hot or cold, e.g., with applesauce or herb salt.
